Pridelands Films is a Kenyan based wildlife film company founded by conservationist turned wildlife filmmaker, Fiona Tande. It is a platform created to stand in the gap that is foreign crews brought to shoot in the country and the talented pool of local filmmakers who often don’t get a chance to be involved in the story telling process. Fiona is a camera assistant with ambitions to build on her skills and eventually be one of the leading camera operators based in Kenya. She would like to use this platform to help uplift fellow local filmmakers and show the world that there are equally brilliant filmmakers in the country/continent, who are ready to take a seat at the table that is wildlife filmmaking.
